What’s this website about?
The housing industry is going through a period of profound changes. Although it’s widely considered a “buyer’s market,” there are no longer the multitudes of home financing options there once were. People who just a few years ago could easily refinance their homes or qualify for a home loan are being denied the home financing they need.
Even worse, more and more home owners are losing their homes to foreclosure. Sure, some are due to poor money management or unforeseen life events but an alarming number of foreclosures happen because the borrower was duped into a loan they didn’t understand and couldn’t afford.
We all want to make the right decision when it comes to refinancing or buying a home but it can seem virtually impossible. TheResponsibleMortgagelender.com is dedicated to giving you the information you need to make smart refinancing and home buying decisions. There is no loan application form or mortgage calculator. There are no gimmicks. I’m not trying to sell you anything. However, if you’re looking for a home loan, I’d be happy to talk with you.
My goal is to promote responsibility in the home buying and lending process as well as create a conversation with you so that you can make the right decisions for you and your family. My advice and time is free of charge. I only ask that you tell your friends and family about this website and my Responsible Lending blog.
